Faith by Tammy Lang Jensen

I want your faith to be tangible, not just something you hope for. Then I want you to walk that faith out in a way that the whole world can see it.

I want your faith to be tangible, not just something you hope for. Then I want you to walk that faith out in a way that the whole world can see it.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). So you see, faith by it self isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless (James 2:17).

What are you believing me for today? What are you declaring over your life. He replied, because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, move from here to there, and it will move. Nothing will be impossible to you (Matthew 17:20). Are you looking at the impossibilities today. Are you believing things could change in the blink of an eye. Get your fire back, get your hope back, and trust God for his promises. God is not a man that he should lie; neither a son of man, that he should repent. Shall he say and not do? And shall he speak and not make it good? (Numbers 23:19).

Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow (James 1:17). I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world (John 16:33). And now these three remain: FAITH, HOPE and LOVE. But the greatest of these is love (1 Corinthians 13:13).

These are Tumultuous Times for sure, requiring the full armor of God. But what good has been accomplished, if you can slay dragons and cast out demons, but have not love. If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be as a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I had the gift of prophecy and if I understood all of God‘s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I can move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing.

God desires that we are healthy, whole, well-balanced to do his work. Relent to his nudging today, let the Holy Spirit have his way! Be the salt and the light of this world, surrender it all to God! He is not a hard task master, as some might think. I am gentle as a dove, faithful as the truest friend and more loving than you can comprehend. Stay the course, fight the good fight of faith, and finish the race well....
