The Finest Emerald by Tammy Lang Jensen
Just like the finest Emerald, I have polished you and refined you from the beginning. Take away the dross from the silver, and there shall come forth a vessel for the finer (proverbs 25:4).

I have refined you, but not as silver is refined. Rather, I have refined you in the furnace of suffering (Isaiah 48:10). At times, the test and trials have seemed more than you could bear. The pruning and stripping has been intense.

But I am stripping away every branch that does not bear fruit. He made my mouth like a sharpened sword, in the shadow of his hand he hid me; he made me into a polished arrow and concealed me in his quiver (Isaiah 49:2). I have had my emeralds and diamonds tucked away. My strongest arrows hid and the quiver.

I have saved the best for last. I have taken my time with my anointed ones. So the last will be first, and the first will be last (Matthew 20:6). Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything (James 1:4). Remember, I have sent in foot soldiers first to check out the enemies camp. Now, it is time for an all out airstrike. I am calling my Eagles, I am shooting out the anointed polished arrows. I have reached into the treasures of heaven and deployed my crown jewels to the front lines.

I have rattled the prison doors, and called Elijah from the cave. The glory of the Lord has risen upon you. Your light has invaded the darkness, your Master has not left you alone. The teacher is always the quietest during the test. You have walked through the fires of affliction. You have endured the pain of rejection. You have been cast out, set aside, and left behind. Well I am here to tell you, the Lord has saved the best for last.

You have not been punished, you have been protected. He will cover you with his feathers; under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and rampart (Psalm 91:5). Do you hear the shofar in the distance. I am activating my hidden ones. Your time has arrived, your destiny moment awaits. Emerald soldiers, diamonds of the dust, take up your battle stations. There is fire falling from heaven, and the Lord is in our midst....
