The Butterfly by Tammy Lang Jensen
So last night and this morning the Lord has continued to minister to me concerning the butterfly. He said, “They are so beautiful and delicate, almost like fine stained glass.” They dance with color, beauty and light.

They seem to captivate child and adult alike. Jesus was sitting next to me in the garden, his hand was open with the butterfly resting peacefully in His open palm. He said, “If I close my hand tightly, the butterfly will die.

Also, if I try and catch it, most likely I will damage or tear its wings.” The only way to safely interact with the butterfly is to let it come and go as it pleases.

The Lord made a broad sweep of his hand and asked me to look around. The garden was so lush and filled with beautiful flowers. He said, even if the butterfly flies away, the beauty of the garden I have planted will always draw her back. Have you made yourself and your home a beautiful garden to always draw your loved ones back? Knowing with certainty they can’t resist the draw of home. Therefore say to them, thus says The Lord of host, return to me, declares the Lord of host, that I may return to you, says the Lord of host (Zechariah 1:3).

Like an eagle that rouses her chicks and hovers over her young, so he spread his wings to take them up and carried them safely on his pinions (Deuteronomy 32:11). The Lord is teaching many to fly in this season, but also asking they help others to find their wings. What good are Mountain Heights and unlimited blue skies, if you are flying all alone. Encourage those around you, speak often of flying above the storm clouds.

Praise the Lord, my soul and forget not all his benefits-who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases. Who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the Eagles (Psalm 103:2-5). What is in your life that renews your strength and what are you holding onto that zaps your energy? The Lord loves you too much to leave you the way you are.

New Wine requires new wineskins, the past must remain exactly there. Cast your burden on the Lord, and he shall sustain you; he shall never permit the righteous to be moved (Psalm 55:22). Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light (Matthew 11:28-30). For I the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, fear not, I will help you (Isaiah 41:13).

Whatever that thing is that has threatened to destroy you in this season. Finances, health, wrong relationships, wrong mindset, heaviness or weariness. I decree and declare that relief is on the way. I left mine eyes unto the hills-where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth (Psalm 121:1-2). I see the Lion of Judah roaring over you, shattering every stronghold that has held you bound. While the moment a butterfly flutters lightly to your cheek is gone in an instant.

The memory of butterfly kisses and gentle breezes will last a lifetime. Hold everything the Lord gives you loosely, so you remain a conduit and not a dam. Release all your butterflies and wait expectantly upon their return. It is the love that will draw them home. Worry never add a single hour to a man’s life....So Don’t Worry, Be Happy....
