Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo delivered a sermon titled "Connecting With Your Destiny Helpers". The message focused on how God strategically positions people—"destiny helpers"—in our lives to assist us in fulfilling our divine purpose. These individuals are meant to open doors, provide resources, and guide us toward our destined success.

The role of destiny helpers
Ashimolowo highlighted that destiny helpers are not a result of luck, but are divinely orchestrated connections. He described their functions in several ways:
They connect you to your next season, grabbing your hand and guiding you into your divine purpose and blessing.
They provide inspiration and motivation, believing in your potential even when you may not.
They lift you up and fight battles on your behalf, using their influence and network to open opportunities.
They solve specific problems and can appear in surprising forms, sometimes even seeming like a problem at first.

Characteristics of destiny helpers
The sermon described various types of destiny helpers and how to identify them:

Divine connectors: They introduce you to pivotal opportunities and people.
Mentors and sponsors: They provide guidance, support, and resources.
Gatekeepers: They hold keys to new levels of favor and access.
Intercessors: They pray for you behind the scenes for no personal gain, as divinely mandated to bring you into your next season.

Even "uncommon enemies" can serve as destiny helpers, as their opposition can lead to greater exposure and promotion, just as Goliath served as a platform for David's rise.

How to attract and connect with your destiny helpers
Ashimolowo offered practical advice on how to align yourself to receive these divine connections:
Be a spiritual person: Live in obedience and righteousness, as your life's success is influenced by the spiritual realm.
Be an asset: Add value to the kingdom of God and to your sphere of influence, like Joseph did.
Embrace humility: Pride can repel helpers and cause you to miss opportunities. Humility attracts divine exaltation.
Be watchful and discerning: Recognize that not every connection is from God. Some are "destiny killers" who may discourage you.

Call to action and prophetic declaration
The sermon was accompanied by prophetic decrees, with Ashimolowo declaring that it was a "season of divine help, supernatural connections, and undeniable support" for the congregation. He prophesied that the congregation's destiny helpers were locating them swiftly and that every battle blocking their help was breaking. The session concluded with prayers for divine connections and for the ability to discern and receive the help God has sent.
